Surface Particle Counter

PartSens 4.0 is a portable measuring system with a wireless measuring head for fast and direct determination of surface particle detection.

PartSens+ 4.0 adds the capability to differentiating particle sizes and particle counts of metallic and non-metallic particles and fibers on surfaces.

Mobile design and ease of use make this device the perfect solution to ensure clean surfaces for a product or a production environment.

Using strip light technology, PartSens delivers both reproducible and highly accurate surface particle detection in compliance with ISO 14644-9. Complex sampling by gas extraction is no longer necessary, as are subjective measuring methods (microscopy) or faulty multi-stage methods (surface flushing by filter media followed by filter analysis). The surface particle measurement result, including the live image, is immediately displayed via a wireless transmission on the device display. The data is stored in the particle counter for archiving or comparison measurements, or output via an external printer. 

PartSens+ 4.0 is ISO 16232 and both  VDA 19 Parts 1 and 2 compliant and can be used to perform Percent Area Covered (PAC) calculations. For surfaces that cannot be measured directly (curved or rough surfaces), both products are compatible with particle trap strips, collection trays and tape lift pads that can be used in the gowning area and throughout the cleanroom for periodic cleaning verification. 

PartSens+ 4.0 enables the detection of metallic and non-metallic particles and fibers, and details the particle position, and morphology.

Both products can detect particles on a wide range of surfacematerials, such as aluminum, glass, plastic, silicon, and stainless steel.
